Recipients need nothing for decrypting the information, but the encrypted envelope they receive and the password. Encrypted envelopes, as in standard e-mail messages, can contain both: file attachments and a Rich Text message. Once received, recipients can directly open or save the attachments to any location, and read the text message in the built-in text viewer.
