You simply point and click on the sound file you want to play and WAVpedal will load your word processor automatically and associate your selected file with your word processor file. To use the WAVpedal system, you must have a headset that plugs into your sound card, PC speaker, or CD-ROM player. If you do not have this type of headset, Medword recommends the Spectra Personal True Stereo Headphone Set. (Most all headsets that plug into normal transcriber machines will not work because the plug will be incompatible.)
