Digital Voice Recorder DISCONTINUEDThe Olympus DS-4000 is professional enough to suit your needs. It offers the unique possibility to customize the buttons’ functions to your requirements. Its smart, full-metal body also features a compact, ergonomic form and slide-switch for comfortable one thumb operation to enhance performance. Data can easily be transferred to the PC via the USB interface. The removable Olympus xD-Picture Card generates practically unlimited recordings. The 32MB card delivered with the DS-4000 offers up to 11 hours recording time and nearly 180 hours are possible with the optional 512MB xD-Picture card. The DSS format offers excellent sound quality at a high compression rate. Customizable functions make it possible to minimize and maximize the number of folders from 1 to 7, each holding 199 voice files. There are two recording qualities in high compression DSS format, up to ten different author IDs for easy and quick file finding and the ability to assign up to ten user-defined work types to sort recordings thematically. Using the authentic WAVpedal foot pedal system available through Medword allows comfortable dictation transcription. The DS-4000 really excels on network environments too.
