Visitors sometimes send Medword e-mail and we do not - or cannot - answer them. This is because the nature of their question is not something we can answer or have the resources to answer. Or, the answer to their question may be readily available on our web site, but they have not taken the time to look first - which we politely ask them to do. A request to have a visitor search for an answer first is considered acceptable when that request is from a web site that offers free access, services, and resources as Medword does (and when selling goods is not the main focus of the web site). Because we pay for all our own web-site activities, and ask nothing from our visitors other than to enjoy their visit, we have to place limits on the time and money we spend for customer service activities. On the customer contact pages, we publish a list of question topics we will not, cannot, or are unable to answer. In spite of that request, we still get e-mail on those topics every day.
Here is a sampling of the type of questions we are asked on any given day that we cannot answer or insufficient-wrong sender information makes it difficult for us to answer:

- "I do not know who I need to talk to. I want to talk to someone regarding whether you employ recent MT graduates?.." [Not Answered - Medword does not place or hire MTs - noted on contact pages]
- regitration & accomodation: I would like for some one to call me **** due to i have several questions..." [Not Answered - no idea what the person wants - can't make chargeable calls to unknown numbers for unclear requests]

- "am interested in buying some books in your store. then i will like to know if you can ship the order to nigeria. please if you do get back to me fast." [Not Answered - Medword sells for Amazon.com - visitor just needs to click on book link]
- "i sent an email an hour ago and you have not answered it yet." [Not Answered - the original e-mail was answered after others ahead of it were answered]
All the above are from real e-mails. Names and addresses have been omitted to protect the sender. The text in quotes is all the information we received in the body of the message. These are only a very small number of the messages we wade through every day to find messages from the visitors who have legitimate questions. Medword does respond to all visitors whose question is legitimate. Medword
